❓1. What tyre width (section) should I choose for my use and comfort?

The evolution: The current trend favours wider tyres.

25 mm: The versatile standard. Good balance between aerodynamics and performance.

28 mm: Very popular. Significantly increases comfort, thegrip and, at optimised pressure, can offer best rolling resistance on imperfect roads. Ideal for long distance

❓2. What type of construction to choose: Inner Tube (Tubetype), Tubeless Ready or Tubular?

Inner Tube: Simplicity of installation, easy inner tube change.

Tubeless Ready (TLR): Best performance/comfort, zero risk of pinch puncture, sealant plugs small perforations.

Tubular: Better feel, extreme lightness.

❓3. What do I need between speed (performance) and puncture protection?

Speed Priority: Look for tyres with supple casing (high TPI, e.g. 110 TPI and above) and minimal puncture protection reinforcement. They are light, responsive, but more fragile.

Protection/Durability Priority: Opt for "Endurance" or "4 Seasons" tyres. They have thicker reinforcements, are heavier, but offer superior longevity and a excellent safety against perforations.

The Compromise: The flagship models (see below) manage to offer high speed while incorporating effective puncture protection technology.
