The CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 700c TubeType Folding Tyre is the successor to the highly regarded Grand Prix 4000S II. The German brand has designed a product suitable for both training and racing, as well as on dry or wet roads.

Made up of three layers, the Grand Prix 5000 is designed to combine performance, grip and durability without sacrificing comfort. For exceptional road handling, the tyre features Lazer Grip technology. This set of small structures on the side of the tyre provides maximum grip even when leaning at an angle on wet roads. For optimal performance, Continental has reworked its Black Chill technology. 

In terms of comfort and durability, the GP 5000 uses Active Comfort, which absorbs vibrations, and the Vectran Breaker, which is made with synthetic fibres, making your tyre highly resistant to punctures with a controlled weight.
