The CONTINENTAL GATORSKIN 700c TubeType Folding tyre has been designed for the most demanding commuters and for cyclists looking for a smooth-profile tyre offering durability, excellent grip and unrivalled puncture resistance.
Built around a high-performance 3-layer 180 TPI carcass, this tyre features a wide Poly-X anti-puncture belt under the tread that extends downwards for better coverage, and Duraskin anti-tear mesh, for incredible strength.
In this 700x32c version, it also provides maximum comfort, ideal for riding on the most battered roads.

Extremely difficult punctures and assembly
"650 km on the odometer and already 4 rear punctures, for use mainly as a velotaf in Paris, but also for outings in the countryside. Then, when it happens to you in the middle of nowhere, just disassembling it is a feat: it's impossible to insert the lever between the rim and the tire. After a while, you get the hang of it, but you have to play with the three levers, with a lot of patience and frustration. To get them back in place, there's no other solution than using the levers, otherwise you'll be walking home! It's a pity, because the grip is good."
