How does instalment payment with Alma work?

With Alma, you can pay for your purchases in 2, 12 or 24 instalments directly at the point of payment.

In practice:

• You select the instalment payment option offered in the basket.
• You enter your bank card details as you would for a standard payment, along with your personal information. Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard and American Express (prepaid and virtual cards are not accepted).
• Alma immediately shows you the amount of each instalment, any potential fees and the payment schedule. If you are eligible, you will receive a payment confirmation email.
• Payment in 2, 3 or 4 instalments from €50 up to €3,000
• Credit in 10, 12 or 24 instalments from €200 up to €5,000
• The first payment is debited on the day of your order, then subsequent payments are taken automatically each month, with no further action required on your part.
• Everything is secure and transparent: you know in advance the exact amount and dates of your payments, with no hidden fees.

Credit is a commitment and must be repaid. Check your repayment capacity before committing.

Am I eligible for instalment payment with Alma?

Instalment payment is offered directly by our partner Alma, who assesses eligibility for payment independently of Probikeshop. We are not aware of the acceptance or refusal criteria.

I am returning a product paid for in instalments with Alma — how will I receive my refund?

If you return a product paid for in instalments with Alma, you will be refunded the amount you have already paid, minus any potential credit fees, once your return has been received by our team. Your upcoming instalments will be cancelled and you will not have to pay the remaining amount.

My request was declined by Alma — what should I do?

We are sorry that your instalment payment request was declined. Alma is solely responsible for accepting or rejecting applications.
