The brand Alpinestars was founded in 1963 by Sante Mazzarolo, a craftsman from Asolo (Veneto) specialising in leatherwork. Mazzarolo began by designing walking shoes and ski boots, which he named "Alpinestars" — the English translation of the Italian "Stella Alpina", or edelweiss. Much like this mountain flower, products bearing the Alpinestars name are characterised by their dynamism! Indeed, throughout its more than fifty-year history, the Alpinestars brand has continuously expanded its offering! Alpinestars first accompanied the rise of Motocross by providing its riders with suitable equipment, before moving into all extreme sports.
