The ZIPP Cognition NSW Rear Freehub Ratchet and Seal forms the clutch and seal assembly of the Axial Clutch system fitted to Cognition NSW rear hubs (Generation 1 and 2). This genuine ZIPP part forms the core of the Cognition technology drive mechanism.

Unlike conventional pawl-and-spring freehub systems, the Axial Clutch relies on injection-moulded ratchet rings and magnets for near-instant engagement and quiet operation, whatever the intensity of use.

Compatible with ZIPP Cognition NSW rear hubs, this kit enables a complete overhaul of the clutch mechanism without replacing the freehub body.
