Description

The ZIPP Cognition NSW Rear Disc Brake Freehub Ratchet and Seal includes the ratchet shell, driver, Sylomer spring and seal cap of the Axial Clutch system fitted to Generation 2 Cognition NSW disc brake/rim brake hubs. This genuine ZIPP part forms the core of the Cognition technology drive mechanism.

Unlike conventional pawl-and-spring freehub systems, the Axial Clutch uses injection-moulded ratchet rings combined with magnets for near-instant engagement and quiet operation, even under intensive use.

Compatible with ZIPP Cognition NSW Disc Brake / Rim Brake Generation 2 hubs, this kit enables a complete overhaul of the drive mechanism without replacing the freehub body.
