ZIPP 202 NSW A1 Tubeless Ready Front Wheel (Center Lock)

The front wheel ZIPP 202 NSW A1 is designed for cyclists seeking an ultra-lightweight front wheel capable of excelling on the most demanding climbs. With a 35 mm rim depth and an exceptionally low weight, it delivers instant acceleration and a feeling of lightness that transforms every ascent into a true stage for expression. Developed for competition and mountain routes, it also retains the aerodynamic qualities essential for rolling sections.

At the heart of its design lies Biomimetic Laminate technology, a differentiated-modulus carbon laminate inspired by the behaviour of muscle tendons. This structure combines high-strength fibres in impact-exposed zones with high-modulus fibres in tension-stressed zones. The result is a particularly responsive front wheel, capable of efficiently transmitting rider inputs while maintaining a high level of durability.

The rim features a Hookless Tubeless Straight Side (TSS) construction with an internal width of 23 mm. This geometry promotes the use of wider tyres at lower pressure to reduce vibrations, improve efficiency and enhance control during fast descents. This design also contributes to better stability and a more precise handling feel on technical roads.

The wheel features the ZR1 SL hub developed in Germany. Combined with particularly lightweight Alpina Hyperlite spokes, it helps reduce inertia while guaranteeing excellent lateral stiffness.
