The bottom bracket Wolf Tooth T47 is designed for cyclists who demand silence and durability. This asymmetric model is specifically intended for frames whose bottom bracket shell measures 85.5 mm (Trek T47 standard) or 86.5 mm.
It combines the best of two worlds: the generous diameter of the Press Fit standard for maximum stiffness, and the security of threaded installation to eliminate creaking. Machined with extreme precision in Minneapolis, it uses high-quality bearings to guarantee smooth pedalling, kilometre after kilometre.
Why is this bottom bracket described as "asymmetric"? This model is dedicated to frames where the bottom bracket shell is not standard (68/73 mm). It is designed for modern frames that use a width of 85.5 mm (very common on Trek) or 86.5 mm, to ensure the bearings are perfectly positioned.
Is it easy to maintain? Yes, this is one of the great advantages of the T47. As it is threaded, it can be removed and reinstalled easily with the appropriate tool, without needing a heavy press or risking damage to the carbon frame.
