Description
The WOLF TOOTH Pedal MKØ DEL is the ultra-high performance version of the DEL pedal. Designed specifically for elite racers (UCI Gravel Series, Lifetime Grand Prix), it pushes Wolf Tooth's engineering to its absolute limit. By using exotic materials such as titanium with DLC coating (Diamond-Like Carbon), it achieves a weight of just 174 g per pair, nearly 40 g less than the standard version.
It is a single-sided pedal that offers the efficiency and aerodynamics of a road pedal, combined with the robustness and 2-bolt cleat system (SPD) required for gravel and cyclocross. It retains the range's signature wide contact surface for maximum power transfer without pressure points.
Do the 174 g include both pedals? Yes, that is the weight for the pair, which is exceptional. For comparison, Shimano XTR pedals weigh approximately 310 g.
Can I use my Shimano cleats with these pedals? Yes, they are 100% SPD compatible. However, the included Wolf Tooth stainless steel cleats are recommended for a firmer and more durable interface.
Why adjust the Q-Factor? This allows you to adjust the distance between your feet. A reduced Q-factor (51 mm) is often preferred by riders coming from road cycling, whilst a wider spacing (59 mm) offers more stability and clearance for wide shoes or voluminous frames.
Is it difficult to clip in on a single-sided pedal? Like a road pedal, it is weighted so that it naturally presents itself in the correct position. This is a deliberate choice to save weight and improve aerodynamics. For more recreational or technical riding with frequent stops, the ALT or CTRL (double-sided) models are more suitable.

Points forts
Record Lightweight: At 174 g, it is the lightest SPD pedal with a full platform.
DLC Titanium Axle: A machined titanium axle with an ultra-hard carbon coating to reduce friction and increase longevity.
Massive Contact Surface: A 559 mm² platform (compared to only 144 mm² for a Shimano XTR), offering stability close to that of a road pedal.
Customisable Q-Factor: Adjustable to 51, 55 or 59 mm by simply reorganising the internal components (delivered at 55 mm).
Single-Sided Design: Optimised for weight and aerodynamics, with an open centre for perfect mud clearance.
