The TWIST Battery Base is specifically designed for electric bikes whose bottle cage inserts are located directly on the battery cover or in areas where the screws are particularly short.

Thanks to its ultra-flat design and specific screws, it allows the Fidlock ecosystem (bottles, bags) to be installed without risking damage to the battery cells located directly beneath. It is the essential accessory for transforming your e-MTB into a clean machine, free from bulky conventional bottle cages.

Why use this base instead of the standard "Bike Base"? The battery base is designed for situations where the space behind the screw insert is very limited. It uses shorter screws and a flatter interface to ensure that no metal parts pierce or scratch the casing of your battery.

Could the motor vibrations cause the bottle to detach? No. The Fidlock system is designed for aggressive mountain biking. The mechanical locking is extremely robust and withstands the constant vibrations of electric motors as well as impacts on rough terrain.

Can it be installed on a standard (non-electric) bike? Yes, absolutely. It will work exactly like a standard base, but with an even more discreet profile.

Could the bottle obstruct access to charge the battery? That depends on the location of your charging port. The advantage of the Fidlock system is that you can remove the bottle in a quarter of a second to free up access to your charging connector.
