Description

Specially designed for Cross-Country on highly technical terrain on e-MTBs, the VITTORIA E-Barzo 29x2.35 Tubeless Ready tyre, integrates the new compound Graphene 2.0. The first brand to use Graphene, VITTORIA today delivers a product with impressive technical qualities for electric assist bikes (e-bikes).

The winning choice of the 2015 world champion and the BC Bike Race winner, the E-Barzo is as fast as it is aggressive! Thanks to the tread profile and knob angle, as well as the Graphene 2.0 compound, the tyre offers better grip, particularly on wet ground.

The 4C tread is composed of 4 graphene zones that provide greater resistance and unmatched traction on technical terrain. The E-Barzo is also built around a 120 TPI casing XC Trail reinforced with an additional layer on the sidewalls  guaranteeing high performance.

Good touring tire

"Installed on a CUBE Elite e-MTB for rides on dirt trails that are sometimes rough and rocky. After the original SCHWALBE Nobby Nic (too prone to flats) and HUTCHINSON Taipan (also excellent for touring but a bit heavy), the first impression is that you’re riding on a “drier” tire compared to a standard compound. Their lightness makes the bike less 'clunky' and easier to handle. Good grip on dry terrain, but watch out for gravel in turns. Particularly fast on relatively smooth trails. On paved sections, the mountain bike handles almost like a road bike. Speed is due to low rolling resistance. With a TPI of 120, it offers extra protection against punctures. Combined with a puncture-resistant strip and a JOES No-Flats anti-puncture inner tube, it provides added peace of mind, provided you inflate it to 1.8."

Good on paved roads, but be careful on gravel

"This is my first time installing these tires, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The tires are easy to mount and snap onto MICHE rims without a compressor. I'm a little disappointed with the grip on gravel roads. I'm going to experiment with the tire pressure to see how it goes."

Good tires

"A great tire with good traction and performance. On dry, relatively flat terrain, I'd go with a Peyote—too bad it doesn't come in 2.35"

tire for XC and trail riding

"A very good tire, but the E version is identical to the standard version"
