This configuration allows you to detach the waterproof bag in a matter of seconds upon arriving at the bivouac without having to touch the handlebar attachment straps. Is this system compatible with drop handlebars (Gravel)? Yes, absolutely. The length of the waterproof bag is adjustable thanks to its roll-top closure on both sides. You can compact it to fit perfectly between the drops of a gravel handlebar without obstructing hand placement or the operation of the gear and brake levers.

Does the bag crush the brake cables and housing on the handlebar? USWE provides dense foam spacer blocks to be positioned between the holster and the handlebar. These shims create a valuable gap that allows derailleur cables and brake hoses to pass through without being pinched or affecting braking or gear shifting.

Does the weight at the front make the bike difficult to handle? Any front luggage slightly alters the steering inertia. However, as this system keeps the bag very close to the head tube and eliminates all swaying thanks to the rigid holster, the impact on handling is minimal. It is the ideal location for storing light but bulky items (sleeping gear, clothing) in order to preserve the agility of the front wheel.
