Description
The USWE Action Camera Harness is a premium chest camera mount, specifically designed to integrate directly onto USWE backpacks equipped with the patented NDM™ 1 (No Dancing Monkey) buckle system. This harness replaces the original buckle on your pack to allow you to mount an action camera (GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, Insta360, etc.) at the centre of your chest.
Thanks to USWE's unique suspension technology, the camera moves as one with your torso. Bounce is completely eliminated, delivering footage with professional-grade stability and ultra-immersive quality, right up close to the handlebars and your riding line. Made from breathable and stretchy materials, it does not hinder the rider's movements or breathing during intense efforts in MTB, Enduro or Trail riding.
Is this harness compatible with ALL USWE backpacks? No, take care. This model is exclusively designed for packs featuring the NDM 1 harness system (recognisable by its round central buckle and 4 Velcro-adjustable straps). It is not compatible with the new generation NDM 2 buckles (found on larger trail or high-end bikepacking packs). Make sure to check the buckle generation of your current pack before purchasing.
Does the harness restrict breathing on steep climbs? That is the whole advantage of the USWE system. The vertical straps are elastic and cross at the centre of the chest. They accommodate the expansion of the ribcage during effort without ever restricting breathing, while maintaining ideal tension so the camera does not move a millimetre.
Can the camera angle be adjusted up or down? Yes. The chest plate uses the standard pin-mount anchor system. By tightening or loosening the thumbscrew on your camera, you can adjust the viewing angle according to your position on the bike (more upward on descents or lower when in a pedalling position).
