Description

The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG90T DF 0/10/20 upgrade kit incorporates the brand new DF technology, designed to eliminate the pedal kickback effect. This anti-kickback device, simplified to the maximum, is compatible with all Ratchet DEG freehub systems. Lighter than other solutions, it only requires the replacement of the hub's threaded ring and the two ratchet rings.

With this kit, you benefit from three adjustable degrees of freedom (0°, 10° and 20°), allowing you to fine-tune your bike's behaviour according to the terrain or suspension type. The rear suspension is thus freed from chain influence, allowing it to absorb shocks more smoothly and naturally.

Installation is straightforward and adds no extra weight. Furthermore, the DF system works without additional parts for its reset: it uses only the rotation of the wheel and the spring pressure on the ratchet rings. The result: minimal maintenance and maximum reliability.

Informations techniques

DF = 0°
The engagement angle of the Ratchet DEG hub is preserved, which does not affect the kick-back effect. The 0° setting is generally better suited to Cross Country riding, where the engagement speed of the freehub is paramount.

DF = 10°
The freehub system has 10° of rotational freedom before engaging, which reduces the kick-back effect. The 10° setting is generally better suited to All Mountain riding, where kick-back becomes noticeable and can be part of the bike's setup.

DF = 20°
The freehub system has 20° of rotational freedom before engaging, offering the greatest reduction in kick-back in our system. The 20° setting is generally better suited to Enduro/Downhill riding, where kick-back becomes noticeable and is part of the bike's setup.
