The TOPEAK TwinHead DX Upgrade Kit is a complete replacement solution for the head and hose of your floor pump. Designed to fit most pumps on the market (not just Topeak brand pumps), this kit replaces a worn head or a punctured hose with premium TwinHead DX technology.
This "double-sided" head is renowned for its robustness and simplicity: one side for Presta valves, one side for Schrader valves, with no internal adjustment required. The extra-long aluminium locking lever ensures a firm grip on the valve, even at high pressure.
My pump is not a Topeak — can I still install it? Yes, that is the whole point of this "Upgrade" kit. Thanks to the various connection adapters included, it can fit on virtually all standard floor pumps on the market.
Is it easy to install? Very simple. You generally just need to unscrew the old hose at the base of your pump and screw the new one on using the corresponding adapter.
Why upgrade to a DX head? The original heads on entry-level pumps are often made of fragile plastic and eventually start to leak. The DX head is a benchmark for reliability, used on the brand's professional pumps.
