TOPEAK SWING-UP DX Pivoting Bike Stand

The TOPEAK SWING-UP DX Bike Stand is not a simple wall hook. It is a high-performance support that allows you to hang your bike vertically and pivot it from left to right. This function is crucial: it allows you to press the bike against the wall to free up floor space or to store several bikes side by side like the pages of a book.

Unlike fixed hooks, the pivot mechanism of the Swing-Up DX is smooth and can be locked at the desired angle in 15° increments. Its robust aluminium and steel construction supports the heaviest bikes, while protecting your rims thanks to a soft rubber coating.

Is it compatible with MTBs with wide tyres (29" x 2.4" or more)? The DX is limited to 2.35" tyres. For wider tyres (Plus size or Fat Bike), Topeak offers the Swing-Up EX model or specific stands. Make sure to check the width of your modern MTB tyres.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard (drywall) wall? It is strongly recommended to fix it into a wooden stud or a solid wall (concrete/brick). If you must install it on plasterboard, use high-resistance Molly bolts appropriate for the weight of your bike (16 kg + lever force).

Is there a risk of the bike falling if it is not straight? No, the hook is designed to hold the wheel firmly. The pivot locking system ensures the bike stays in the position you placed it.

Does it damage the spokes? The hook is shaped to rest on the rim, not on the spokes. Its soft coating prevents any cosmetic damage.
