The THULE VELOLITE 2-Bike Towball Carrier is a compact bike carrier designed to simplify the daily transport of two bikes. Light and easy to handle, it attaches quickly to the towball and offers a practical solution for regular commutes and occasional outings. Its foldable platform makes storage in a boot or garage easy when the bike carrier is not in use.
Thanks to its independent mounting arms fitted with straps and their pivoting head, it adapts to a wide variety of frame geometries. Compatible with frames from 20 to 90 mm, it accommodates city bikes, mountain bikes and gravel bikes alike. The generous 23 cm gap between bikes minimises contact during transport.
Its low-profile design allows access to the vehicle boot without removing the bike carrier when it is empty. The integrated rear lights and number plate holder ensure use in compliance with road traffic regulations.

Is it suitable for transporting an electric mountain bike (e-MTB)? This model is designed for lightness and compactness. While it can easily accommodate standard mountain bikes or road bikes, it is important to check its maximum load capacity before fitting a heavy electric bike. If your e-MTB exceeds the weight recommended by Thule for this model, it would be better to look at the Thule EasyFold or Epos range, which is specifically reinforced for heavy loads.
Does it obstruct boot access once fitted? Thanks to its compact design dedicated to a single bike, the VeloLite 1 takes up very little depth. On the vast majority of saloon cars, estates and hatchbacks, the remaining space allows the boot tailgate to be opened without any difficulty, even when the bike is in place.
How does storage work when it is not in use? This is one of its greatest strengths. Unlike models for 3 or 4 bikes that are heavy and bulky, the VeloLite 1 can be taken apart in the blink of an eye. You can slide it directly into your car boot while you drive, or hang it on a hook in your garage. It knows how to stay completely out of the way.
