"It's not the lightest, but it's not far off the top three in the XC telescopic TdS category (it would be lighter without the Kashima coating). The travel is a bit shorter than the competition (more like 80/90 mm rather than the 75 mm of this Fox Transfer SL). There are no intermediate lockout positions. It’s either fully extended or fully compressed. But aesthetically, it’s a very beautiful product. The lack of intermediate positions isn’t really a big deal in the end—I probably wouldn’t use them even if they were there. The uphills and downhills are very fast."
