Description

The SRAM X1 11-Speed Rear Derailleur is designed to deliver smooth and reliable gear shifting, thanks to X-HORIZON™ technology.

This design optimises the derailleur by reducing unwanted chain movement, which eliminates ghost shifts and reduces shift force and chain slap.

The 12-tooth X-SYNC™ jockey wheels ensure more precise and faster gear shifting. The derailleur is also equipped with sealed cartridge bearings and an aluminium frame, guaranteeing increased robustness and optimal longevity.

The CAGE LOCK™ technology considerably simplifies wheel removal and installation, making the operation faster and more convenient.

Overall, the SRAM X1 11V delivers exceptional performance for cyclists seeking precision, efficiency and ease of use, whatever the terrain.

SRAM X1

"Good value for the money. The gear shifts are smooth."

Djy05 (5/5)

Lightweight and effective, but not cheap. . . .

"Lightweight and efficient. The finish feels a bit 'plastic,' not as premium as the 2019 XTR I have on my FSi Ltd. The shifting is precise but stiff, less 'smooth' than Shimano. Requires a perfectly aligned hanger. Very expensive, but the quest for weight savings. . . ."

Use a single-speed derailleur

"Very easy to assemble, performs exceptionally well on all types of terrain."

Barthez (4/5)

Good value for money

"Good value for the money; perfect for an 11/50 cassette thanks to its long cage"

A really great product

"It's been several months now since I installed this derailleur on my Foxy R, and I'm completely satisfied with it. It only struggles in really thick mud, but it still works. Paired with an 11/46 cassette, everything has been working perfectly for about 1,000 km."

Bigbeefr (5/5)

Top-notch performance

"As a replacement for an X0: same quality but with aluminum caps, less fragile and cheaper + a few extra pieces = it's a no-brainer."

Bilou69 (4/5)

Great gear, Probike, and top-notch Sram customer service

"Hello, I bought this derailleur because it’s just as good as its bigger brother, except it weighs a few grams less. It operates smoothly, precisely, and effortlessly, and installation and adjustment are quick for anyone who knows how to set up a drivetrain. Paired with an X01 cassette and shifter, it does its job perfectly. Unfortunately, after a first ride in fairly wet conditions, the guide pulley bearing seized up. Bad luck? A defective batch? A seal failure? No matter—I returned it to SRAM’s customer service through ProbikeShop without any issues. They handled the exchange quickly, and SRAM sent me an X01 as compensation. I’m sold. The Pbike team is top-notch—helpful, attentive, responsive, and doesn’t make excuses. SRAM’s customer service is fast and generous, and they know how to keep their customers loyal ;-). I’m thrilled!"

Lightweight and effective

"Upgrading from a 3x9 to a 1x11 is a winning move. This derailleur is very precise, very lightweight, and easy to install and adjust. The cable runs through a pulley at the cable housing exit, which will certainly prevent wear and friction over time. It remains to be seen if the pulley will ever seize up, but the idea is very good. The best part is the arm-locking system, which is really handy for removing the pulley. Plus, it has a great black look."
