Description

It is now possible to brake with a single finger thanks to a complete redesign of the architecture of the SRAM RED AXS E1 Flat Mount 950mm left lever and rear calliper. These components have been adapted to all hand sizes to deliver powerful, smooth braking accessible from any position on the handlebar. Independent reach and contact point adjustment allows for optimal personalisation, eliminating the risk of pinching fingers or hitting the handlebar with the levers, regardless of the configuration.

The comfort around the brake hoods has been significantly improved, reducing fatigue on long rides. The additional buttons allow gear changes or control of ANT+ devices with the thumbs, adding a practical feature. The calliper has been designed to be stiffer and lighter, while offering exceptional pad clearance, ensuring friction-free operation. Overall, this results in a weight saving of 83 grams on the braking and gear-shifting system.

These innovations deliver a significantly improved riding experience, combining performance, comfort and precision.
