The SRAM Maven Base rear brake is designed to meet the demands of modern mountain bikes, where speed and control are paramount. It delivers extreme power to tackle the most challenging terrain with complete confidence. Its Stealth design and Blasted Black anodized finish give it a modern and clean look, perfectly suited to next-generation bikes.

Equipped with a rigid 4-piston 18 mm calliper, the Maven Base guarantees powerful and consistent braking thanks to excellent thermal management. DirectLink™ technology ensures smooth and instantaneous transfer of the rider's input, offering precise modulation and consistent braking feel from the first to the last corner.

Easy to personalise, it features tool-free reach adjustment and works exclusively with Maxima mineral oil. Its calliper integrates the Bleeding Edge system, simplifying maintenance and guaranteeing consistently optimal braking. With standard organic pads, it combines silence and control for an unrivalled riding experience.
