Designed for aggressive riding, the SPANK Spike Race 33 29" rear wheel combines a wide profile — for optimal traction and stability — with exceptional lightness for maximum speed.

The 32-hole hub adds rigidity to the entire wheel. For maximum reactivity when sprinting, the freehub body with 6 pawls and 3.5 degrees of engagement adds a great deal of dynamism.

This wheel is made from Dynamal aluminium, a silicon and magnesium alloy offering mechanical properties comparable to carbon while displaying greater long-term durability and a more affordable price.

The rim features the OohBah profile, which is both thinner in cross-section and wider in width. The wave-shaped inner wall (MGR) also reinforces the vertical walls of the rim for optimal reliability. Combining a concave outer wall with a convex inner tube, this profile provides better traction with sharper accelerations, more decisive braking, more precise handling and improved overall comfort.

Ideal for fitting a Tubeless Ready tyre, the Anti-burp double-hook technology improves tyre fit in the rim, while the BeadBite concept ensures exceptional tyre retention whilst guaranteeing a perfect rim seal. You can ride at low pressure without fear of burping the tyre!
