Description
The SHIMANO XC100 shoes are designed for mountain biking. They feature advanced fit and pedalling technologies for quality performance.
Their wraparound upper structure reduces overlaps and allows a glove-like fit. In addition, the three asymmetric fastening straps distribute support evenly and reduce pressure on the top of the foot.
This shoe features Shimano Dynalast technology, which reduces energy loss during long rides thanks to the refined forefoot plate design that promotes an upward movement. It also reduces the dead spot for improved efficiency.
The synthetic leather material with a micro-perforated structure ensures good ventilation and a better fit. The XC rubber outsole promotes pedal stability and good grip for walking.
Finally, the lightweight nylon midsole, reinforced with fibreglass, ensures improved power transfer.

"Great value for money. Bought them as my first pair to get into car pedals, and I'm not disappointed. They are comfortable and sufficiently rigid in the sole. We'll have to see over time how the seams and Velcro fasteners wear. Watch out for the size, though. I'm a size 43, my foot is a bit wide, so I took a size 45. Top for me, so don't hesitate to go 1 or 2 sizes up if you have a fairly strong foot."
