The SHIMANO RT-MT900 disc is the most efficient disc rotor ever produced by the Japanese brand for managing heat, thanks to clever ventilation fins distributed all along the rotor.

Initially compatible only with the XTR 9100 groupset, for Cross-Country or Enduro use, the triple-layer construction (stainless steel/aluminium/stainless steel) and the cooling system developed by SHIMANO reduce the temperature by approximately 20°C compared to older generation rotors, while providing more powerful braking and extending pad life accordingly.
