The SHIMANO RT-MT800 Ice-Tech Freeza Steps disc provides constant braking power in all riding conditions. The presence of the speed sensor makes it ideal for the rear wheel of a Shimano Steps electric assist cycle.

It features the "Ice-Tech Freeza" technology for powerful and consistent braking, and a 3-layer structure consisting of an aluminium layer between two stainless steel layers to dissipate heat. In addition, the design is optimised to evacuate mud and extend the lifespan of the brake pads.

The SHIMANO Center Lock mounting system allows rotors to be installed and removed quickly and easily thanks to the carrier and the lockring.
