The SHIMANO XT M8220 Enduro front brake with 4 pistons is designed to meet the most extreme demands of enduro and technical mountain riding. Equipped with the alloy BL-M8200 lever, it combines power, precision and comfort thanks to advanced ergonomics, a new pivot point and optimised reach adjustment, enabling a natural finger placement for optimal control.

The redesigned SERVO WAVE system improves the power curve throughout the lever stroke, ensuring progressive and balanced braking. Combined with SHIMANO low-viscosity mineral oil, it guarantees consistent performance even in extreme heat or during prolonged descents. The brake remains stable and responsive, offering total control in the most committed sections.

The BR-M8220 4-piston calliper is the most powerful in the XT range. Built in two pieces with heat-resistant resin pistons, it ensures effective heat dissipation. The new pads reduce vibrations and noise, for quiet and smooth braking.

Finally, the clean hose routing, improved seals and compatibility with downhill components make the M8220 a versatile, reliable and powerful enduro brake, suited to the most demanding terrain.
