Description

The SHIMANO XT M8200 XC 2-piston front brake redefines precision and control for demanding mountain bikers. Its BL-M8200 lever, made from lightweight alloy, has been designed with advanced ergonomics, naturally adapting to the hand for optimal comfort and controlled power. Thanks to a close pivot point, the lever follows the natural movement of the finger, ensuring smooth and intuitive modulation, ideal on technical sections.

The redesigned SERVO WAVE system optimises the braking power curve, regulating the friction between pads and rotor throughout the lever travel. This mechanism delivers more progressive and better-balanced braking. Combined with a new low-viscosity mineral oil, this technology guarantees consistent power, even under extreme temperatures.

The solid construction of the brake, with an alloy calliper and heat-resistant resin pistons, ensures maximum durability. This brake is also compatible with resin or metal pads depending on performance preferences.

Finally, its clean cable routing and its numerous configuration options — XC for lightweight or Enduro for more power — make the M8200 an ideal choice for cyclists seeking efficiency and customisation.
