The SHIMANO XT BR-M8220 4-Piston Post Mount Disc Brake Calliper is designed to deliver maximum power and precise control on the most demanding terrain. Its two-piece 4-piston design ensures consistent and powerful braking, ideal for committed enduro riding as well as long technical outings.

Thanks to optimised seals and low-viscosity oil, the contact point remains sharp and stable whatever the weather conditions. The power curve, derived from DH development, allows precise modulation and total braking control, even under heavy use.

Thermal dissipation is optimised by compatibility with various SHIMANO pads, in resin or metal, with or without fins. The new pads combined with an oval carrier effectively reduce vibrations, guaranteeing silent, reliable and high-performing braking on rough trails.
