Designed for the manufacturer's top-of-the-range electronic groupsets equipped with hydraulic brakes, the SHIMANO DURA-ACE Di2 R9170 Double Left Lever features a design remarkably similar to models fitted with standard brakes. It thus inherits their comfortable ergonomics, which offers increased braking control!
On the technical side, the Dura-Ace Di2 lever evolves in its 9170 version: the action on the control is cleaner and more precise, for ultra-fast gear shifts and an improved feel in competition. The other innovation lies in the possible synchronisation of gears (Semi Synchro Shift technology), inspired by the all-terrain XTR Di2 model: operating the left control alone automatically adjusts the sprocket selection on the cassette, so as to maintain cadence and an optimal chain line!
