"Good shifter, consistent with DEORE quality. You can't loosen the cable by more than one notch with a single push. You can tighten the cable by 3 or even 4 notches with a single push. I bought it even though I found this shifter in the XT lineup. It’s a shame that, given the combination of mounting systems and gear counts, Shimano doesn’t offer a 10-speed XT Ispec II shifter (only 11-speed available... but I don’t want to change everything just for a shifter), which would be more precise and comfortable than the Deore."
