Description

The SHIMANO Deore M6220 4-Piston Rear Brake pairs the BL-M6200 lever with a four-piston caliper built for demanding terrain. Its variable piston diameter setup delivers high stopping power and excellent modulation, perfectly suited for Enduro, Trail and E-MTB riding.

The lever's SERVO WAVE technology ensures quick pad contact followed by controlled power delivery, while the new low-viscosity mineral oil guarantees consistent braking even after long descents.

The two-piece caliper construction improves rigidity and power transfer, and the heat-resistant resin piston, paired with a new seal, maintains stable retraction at high temperatures. The lever's I-SPEC EV mount provides a tidy, integrated setup with the gear shifter.

Supplied with non-finned resin pads and a 1700 mm hose suitable for rear mounting, this brake uses a Post Mount standard and remains compatible with standard rotors as well as the new 2.2 mm thick rotors.
