Reviews

Good mechanical disc brake.

"A good mechanical disc brake. I installed it to replace the rear caliper on my Triban RC120, which would completely fail as soon as it got a little too loose. I feel safer with this new caliper! Plus, ProBikeshop is really great—orders arrive very quickly!"

Get the job done

"Good value for money on these 180mm discs. I prefer good mechanical brakes over bad hydraulic ones. Especially since maintenance is much simpler. The only downside to this brake is that if you tighten the cable clamp screw a little too hard, it tends to strip without much tension. Fortunately, it’s the screw that’s ruined and not the internal thread of the caliper."

Lagrosseberta (4/5)

Powerful and easy to adjust. But heavy.

"Easy to install and adjust. Sure, they're heavy, but at this price point, for a second-hand gravel bike, it's worth it. You can adjust the spacing of the inner pad with a simple Allen wrench. The cable is easy to secure. Braking is smooth and powerful."
