Description

A specific rear-mount model for All-Mountain or Enduro e-MTBs, the SCHWALBE Eddy Current Rear tyre delivers optimal performance on the most technical trails.

It features large and robust knobs to take you on the steepest paths. It has a differentiated front and rear tread pattern to maximise performance. It digs deep into the ground when braking, while propelling all the motor's power forward when accelerating.

Fitted with the Addix Soft rubber compound prioritising grip, particularly at the side knobs, the Eddy Current is offered here with the Super Gravity combining extreme robustness, suppleness and lightness. The tread indeed uses a casing with four layers of materials. Finally, the tyre is entirely wrapped in Snakeskin protection, for incredible stability and reliability.

Excellent tire, bought for a

"Excellent tire, bought for a renewal, I have this rear wheel mount, on a 2018 Giant VTTAE so heavier than the recent ones, and myself I'm not far from 90 kg, which I abuse very regularly in the garrigue of Provence with very dry, very brittle terrain, with a large number of very angular stones, and it doesn't move. I inflate it to 1.3 bar in tubless, and it has excellent lateral handling even in gravel pits. I recommend this tire, even though it's expensive. It all depends on what you do with it. For me, given my riding style, tires are a third of my bike's behavior and therefore of my safety."

"I say ""looks top notch"" because it hasn't yet been tested on a big course. But what's for sure is that I only inflated it to 1.5, I weigh 70kg and it didn't flinch. It's holding up well. I can't wait to try it out thoroughly."

"An incredible rear tire, very grippy and very safe! I previously had Michelin force AM... well there's a world between these two tires.... . Rather tricky tubeless mounting as I inserted an anti-pinch bead inside but it fits! To be seen over time for the life of the tire!"
