Description
Designed exclusively for downhill riding, the ROCKSHOX VIVID ULTIMATE DH RC2 Air C1 rear shock with Trunnion mount offers exceptional control and adjustability on the most demanding terrain. Its new RC2 damper provides excellent sensitivity at the start of the stroke while maintaining strong support throughout the travel. With independent high-speed compression and low-speed compression adjustments, plus rebound adjustment, riders can fine-tune the suspension to suit their riding style.
At the heart of its performance is DebonAir technology, described as the closest RockShox has ever come to the feel of a coil spring in an air spring. This design allows precise adjustment of the positive air volume to optimise sensitivity, mid-stroke support and comfort over rough terrain. The Adjustable Hydraulic Bottom Out system offers five levels of end-of-stroke resistance to better absorb the hardest impacts.
Designed for lasting performance, the Vivid Ultimate DH RC2 Air C1 uses Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension lubricant to reduce friction and improve smoothness. Maintenance is also easier, with service intervals extended to 100 hours thanks to new dust seals and an optimised oil volume. Compatible with electric mountain bikes, it is a benchmark for riders seeking a highly capable and reliable downhill suspension setup.

Key features
The LinearXL air spring delivers a consistent, predictable feel, with adjustment options provided by easy-to-change Bottomless Tokens.
The RC2 damper allows independent, interference-free adjustment of low-speed compression (LSC) and high-speed compression (HSC).
Numbered compression adjustment makes tuning intuitive: simply start at ‘0’ and add or remove damping.
The base valve reduces forces at the IFP by 40%, making the rear shock more supple while maintaining excellent traction.
Main-piston compression settings are matched to the performance of the Charger 3.2 damper, promoting mid-stroke support.
The Adjustable Bottom Out (ABO) has a dial with five compression settings to customise damping over the final 20% of travel.
The removable rebound dial can also be used to adjust HSC and ABO.
The 20 adjustment clicks provide consistent rebound curves across a wide adjustment range, ensuring consistent performance for riders of different weights.
