The RockShox SID SL Select Charger RL 3P Remote fork is designed for mountain bikers dreaming of an ultra-lightweight cross-country bike. This new generation of SID SL retains a finely tuned 32 mm chassis while delivering improved performance, with an air spring inspired by the SID, increased bushing overlap, reduced friction and more tyre clearance for tyres up to 2.4".
Its Charger RL damper offers three handlebar-controlled compression settings: Open for descents, Pedal for accelerations and climbs, and Lock for firm lockout on faster sections. In a race, switching modes without taking your hands off the bars saves valuable time. The DebonAir+ spring offers excellent small-bump sensitivity and good mid-stroke support.
Which remote lever should you use? You need a RockShox three-position cable-operated remote lever compatible with the Charger RL 3P damper, sold separately.
Which travel should you choose? The 100 mm version suits race-oriented XC mountain bikes. The 110 mm version provides a little more leeway on rough courses. Check the maximum travel permitted by your frame.
What size tyre can I fit? The fork accommodates tyres up to 62 mm wide (29 x 2.4").
