Description
The RockShox SID SL Select Charger RL 3P fork is designed for mountain bikers dreaming of an ultra-light cross-country bike. SID SL stands for ‘super-light’: this new generation retains a finely tuned 32 mm chassis while improving performance, with an air spring inspired by the SID, increased bushing overlap, reduced friction and more tyre clearance for tyres up to 2.4".
Its Charger RL damper offers three compression settings adjustable directly on the crown: Open for descents and technical sections, Pedal for accelerations and long climbs, and Lock for a firm lockout on smooth sections. The DebonAir+ air spring provides excellent small-bump sensitivity and good mid-stroke support, with progression adjustable using tokens.
What’s the difference between the Crown and Remote versions? On this Crown version, the three settings are selected using the dial on the fork crown. The Remote version is controlled from the handlebars using a remote sold separately.
Which travel should I choose? The 100 mm version suits race-focused XC bikes. The 110 mm version offers a little more leeway on rough courses. Always check the maximum travel permitted by your frame manufacturer.
What size tyre can I fit? The fork accommodates tyres up to 62 mm wide (29 x 2.4").
