ROCKSHOX MAXIMA PLUSH Dynamic Light 7.5 WT Suspension Oil (1 L)

RockShox Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension Lube Light was jointly developed by RockShox engineers and Maxima Racing Oils. It is designed to lubricate the lower legs (the lower-leg oil bath) and non-hydraulic suspension components, where friction at the bushings and seals directly affects fork sensitivity.

Its Surface Active technology acts on bushings and seals under load to reduce both static friction (stiction) and dynamic friction. The result: immediate movement from the first few millimetres of travel, a fork that responds more smoothly to small bumps and a ‘fresh out of the box’ feel that lasts longer. Its seal conditioners extend seal life, while its cleaning agents keep the inside of the lower legs clean between services.

The Light version is the original lubricant for recent RockShox forks (Pike, Lyrik, Yari, ZEB, BoXXer, Domain, Revelation) and the Reverb XPLR seatpost. It directly replaces RockShox 0W-30 oil on older models.

What is the difference between the Light and Heavy versions? The only difference is viscosity. Light is recommended for most trail, enduro and downhill forks, while the more viscous Heavy version is recommended by RockShox for the lower legs of short-travel forks such as the SID, SID SL and Rudy. Always use the product specified in your fork’s manual.

Can I use it instead of 0W-30 oil? Yes. RockShox confirms that Maxima Plush Dynamic Light is backwards-compatible and can be used wherever 0W-30 oil was recommended.

Can I use it in the damper cartridge? No. This is a lower-leg lubricant, not a hydraulic fluid. The cartridge must be filled with the damper oil specified by RockShox (for example, Maxima Plush 3WT or 7WT, depending on the model).

How much should I put in my fork? Volumes vary by model and year. Check the RockShox specifications chart (oil, air, spring and tokens) on the SRAM service website. The 1-litre bottle is enough for many services.
