Designed for aggressive and e-bike riding, the SPANK Spike Race 33 E-Bike 27.5" rear wheel combines a wide profile — for optimal traction and stability — with great lightness for maximum speed.

The 32-hole hub adds rigidity to the whole wheel assembly. For maximum reactivity on acceleration, the 6-pawl steel freehub body with 3.5 degrees of engagement adds great dynamism and resistance to the demands of the motor.

This wheel is made from Dynamal aluminium, an alloy of silicon and magnesium offering mechanical properties comparable to carbon while displaying greater long-term durability and a more affordable price.

The rim features the OohBah profile, which is both thinner in thickness and wider in width. The wave-shaped inner wall (MGR) also reinforces the vertical walls of the rim for optimal reliability. Combining a concave outer wall with a convex inner tube, this profile provides better traction with sharper acceleration, more decisive braking, more precise handling and improved overall comfort.

Ideal for fitting a Tubeless Ready tyre, the Anti-burp double-hook technology improves tyre fitment in the rim while the BeadBite concept ensures exceptional tyre retention and a perfect rim seal. You can therefore ride at low pressure without fear of burping the tyre!
