Not compatible with my RaceFace Ride Alu!?!

"I thought I wouldn't be bothered by choosing protectors from the same brand as the cranks, but no . . . . My 170mm RaceDace Ride Alu and protectors are not compatible. ... Although they fit perfectly on the cranks, once in place, the holes for the pedal don't really fall in front, it would be missing 3-5mm to make it right... disappointed with my purchase!"

"Easily mounted on Shimano SLX Alu cranks. Chosen in black, these protectors become practically "invisible" once in place. Having already taken a few knocks, they do the job well. I didn't give them 5 stars because I think that although they have a lot of positive points, the price is a bit high. ..."
