For even greater performance, the R benefits from an anti-tear and puncture material as well as SmartGRIP Compound technology. Developed and tested on race tracks around the world, this construction offers incredible grip, durability and rolling efficiency, in any type of condition.

The sidewalls receive an additional 120tpi anti-tear coating, for effective protection without compromising performance. The robust 60tpi Nylon casing of the Scorpion R has been specially developed for more stable riding at low pressure, a larger contact patch, and better vibration absorption.

Also designed for dry and wet surfaces, the tread features closely spaced low-profile knobs. This design improves rolling efficiency while ensuring excellent road holding, limiting deformation in corners.

The tyre profile is also optimised to fit modern aluminium and carbon rims with a wide internal channel.
