Description
The PARK TOOL BKD-1.2 DOT Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit is a complete professional kit designed to bleed most DOT fluid hydraulic brakes on the market, including SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes® and Hope® systems. Bleeding removes air bubbles and contaminants from the hydraulic system, ensuring consistent braking power and a longer service life for components.
Built to withstand daily professional use, it includes two 20 mL syringes, hoses with shut-off clips, bleed blocks in multiple sizes (universal 10/12 mm and 11 mm for Hayes systems), and adjustable, attachable syringe holders that make working alone easier.
The kit also includes a full set of fittings for the main industry standards: M5 x 0.8 adapters for SRAM, a universal M6 x 1.0 adapter, a dedicated SRAM Bleeding Edge fitting, a hose compression sleeve, and a set of spare O-rings and hose. Each part can be replaced individually and is available separately from Park Tool.
Supplied in a robust storage case for convenient transport and workshop storage. Brake fluid not included.
⚠️ Important: this kit is designed exclusively for DOT fluid systems. Never mix DOT fluid and mineral oil, as this can damage the seals and cause brake failure. For mineral oil systems, use the Park Tool BKM-1.2 kit.
