The MAVIC E-DEEMAX S Mullet 27.5/29" wheelset is specifically designed for electric mountain bikes, and equipped with unique technologies for smoother handling and guaranteed riding enjoyment.
The patented PFP technology (Pinch Flat Protection, against pinch punctures) works with rims featuring an increased contact surface between the tyre and the rim, which greatly reduces the risk of cuts and punctures. The 30 mm rim width allows you to reduce tyre pressure to gain traction and reduce rolling resistance. The patented Fore technology features a fully sealed upper rim bridge that eliminates the need for a rim tape, making it the simplest system for tubeless tyre fitting.
ISM machining removes material from strategic points on the rims to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and the new Black Shield treatment protects them against scratches and abrasion. The wheel features 28 straight-pull spokes (same spoke length throughout) to ensure a solid connection between the rim and the hub. This hub is equipped with the ID360 double ratchet system, highly reliable, for fast engagement and efficient acceleration.
