Description
The FULCRUM Red Zone 5 29" wheelset is perfect for mountain bikers looking to enjoy themselves on Cross Country and marathon.
Signed by FULCRUM, this wheelset is built around a wide rim (wider than previous versions) with an asymmetric section guaranteeing traction and stability. The rim is paired with a high-performance one-piece alloy hub fully made of aluminium, ensuring high torque transmission with an oversize cassette-side flange for torsional rigidity, and straight-pull spokes providing maximum strength and reactivity. An ideal balance between rigidity and lightness!
The new hubs now feature the same small tube as those used on the Red Zone Carbon and Red Zone 3 models. The differences lie in the axle and bearing type: the Red Zone 5 wheels are equipped with sealed, durable and efficient bearings, with the possibility of micro-adjusting the play thanks to a special adjustment ring.
In this version, the wheelset is offered with Boost axles of 15x110 mm at the front and 12x148 mm at the rear.
