CRANKBROTHERS SYNTHESIS Carbon XCT 29" 15x110/12x148 mm Boost Wheelset

The Crankbrothers Synthesis XCT Carbon wheelset has been specifically developed to offer precise control and optimal stability in cross-country (XC) and on light trails. Each wheel is designed differently: the front wheel favours suppleness and precision, while the rear wheel prioritises stiffness and responsiveness. The result: a fast, lightweight and intuitive wheel system, as effective on race day as it is for demanding daily rides.

The front wheel, featuring a specific rim profile and an internal width of 26.5 mm, maximises grip and confidence in corners. Thanks to its carbon construction and carefully selected Sapim D-light spokes, it offers good vertical and lateral absorption, limiting vibrations transmitted to the handlebar. This controlled flex improves comfort and precision, even in technical sections such as rocky terrain or roots.

At the rear, the rim benefits from a reinforced profile and a narrower internal width of 24.5 mm, optimised for better pedalling efficiency. Its increased stiffness allows better power transfer and improved stability during accelerations or on descents. Sapim D-light spokes provide a good balance between lightness and durability, perfectly suited to the demands of modern XC.

The integrated Ratchet Drive hubs offer 10° engagement (upgradeable to 6.6° as an option) and are designed to last thanks to their low-friction design, sealed bearings and lightweight alloy axle. The whole is enhanced by an anodised black finish and laser-engraved Crankbrothers logos.
