Description

Ideal for demanding XC riders looking for high-performance MTB wheels, the CRANKBROTHERS Cobalt 2 XC can also be used for sport touring. They are presented here in 29-inch format and are designed for Boost 15x100 mm front and 12x142 mm rear axles.

In this version, the Cobalt features a widened rim of 23 mm (internal) for even more stability, grip and traction! Made from aluminium, this rim incorporates 24 spokes designed to guarantee lateral stiffness and wheel strength: in addition to a straight pull at the hub, these spokes feature a triangular lacing pattern with Twin Pair technology, which pairs the spokes two by two. The Cobalt 3 design has also been engineered to distribute its mass as close to the hub as possible, to boost acceleration responsiveness!
