They feature IPX gel with remarkable properties: very supple, it hardens instantly on impact! The membrane is made of lycra, forming an ultra-lightweight assembly that you'll forget you're wearing in the heat of the action! A highly breathable mesh is also used at the back of the knee, improving comfort.

"This pair of elbow pads was for my wife, so there was no size problem, as I had my own pair as a reference. For my intended use (trail running), this protection is, in my opinion, sufficient (for more committed use, I use protectors with rigid shells). Following a fall, I kept the dimple mark on my arm for a few days and that was it; what would have happened without protection? Otherwise, comfort is average/good: the Velcro fasteners are either too tight, which is annoying (they 'scratch' and leave marks), or not tight enough, in which case the elbow pad tends to slip. I haven't found a happy medium. But that's my feeling, my wife hasn't mentioned this problem to me, so it must depend on each person's morphology."
