The MICROSHIFT ADVENT CS-EG106 10-Speed Cassette CS-EG106 is a high-performance 10-speed cassette designed for modern single-chainring drivetrains. It belongs to the G-Series, meaning it benefits from a design optimised to reduce weight without sacrificing reliability.
Unlike entry-level versions, this model uses an aluminium carrier (spider) for its largest sprockets, providing a substantial weight saving and better protection for your freehub body. With its 11-48 tooth range, it offers complete versatility, whether for technical MTB riding (Advent MX range) or gravel adventure (Sword range).
Is it compatible with my Sword or Advent X derailleur? Yes, it is perfectly optimised for microSHIFT Sword and Advent X 10-speed derailleurs. It uses the specific cable pull ratio of these series.
Why choose this version over the "H" version (black)? For weight and finish quality. The EG106 version is lighter and its Nickel surface treatment makes maintenance easier while offering smoother gear changes.
Does it fit a standard wheel? Yes, it is compatible with the Shimano HG freehub body standard, the most common on the market. It does not require a specific hub (such as XD or Micro Spline).
