MAXXIS SHORTY 29x2.40 WT Double Down 3C MaxxGrip Tubeless Ready Folding Black Tyre

Designed to meet the variable conditions of the Downhill World Cup tracks, Downhill, the MAXXIS Shorty 29x2.40 WT Double Down 3C MaxxGrip folding bead tyre is particularly at home on loose to muddy terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimised for rims 30 to 35 mm wide. It is also designed for Tubeless Ready mounting, without an inner tube.

Ultra-robust thanks to its reinforced Dual Ply casing, and with a larger volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features wide, large lateral knobs slightly offset for excellent cornering stability, even at high speed.

The tread, with its widely spaced knobs, ensures efficient evacuation of stones and mud while guaranteeing aggressive braking performance thanks to their square shape.

It is also equipped with the MaxxGrip triple compound rubber blend, which offers the optimal combination of rebound and grip, for very high-level performance.
