Description
Designed to handle the variable conditions of Downhill World Cup tracks, the MAXXIS Shorty 29 x 2.40 WT Exo 3C tyre Tubeless Ready folding bead offers great versatility, making it equally at home on dry, mixed or muddy terrain.
Robust and with greater volume than the Wet Scream, the MAXXIS Shorty features large, chunky side knobs that are slightly offset, providing great cornering stability even at high speed.
The tread, with its widely spaced knobs, ensures efficient evacuation of stones and mud whilst providing aggressive braking thanks to their square shape. It is also equipped with the MaxxTerra triple compound rubber blend, offering an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and higher rolling efficiency than MaxxGrip.
In this version, it features Exo sidewall reinforcement for increased protection against abrasion and tears, and can be ridden with or without an inner tube. It should also be noted that the casing has been optimised for mounting on a rim with an internal width of 35 mm.
